Full Steam Ahead

By | News | No Comments

We held our first session of 2016 today and what a session it was. We more than doubled the numbers from our first one in December, from 10 to 21 kids. We had people travelling from as far afield as the Highlands and Fife just to take part. Once again the kids had a ball as David and Kevin put them through their paces before we moved onto the games themselves. There were kids as young as 3 getting involved and having great fun playing with the older ones. We hope to post up some videos of the action very soon. For all the latest though you should visit our Facebook page.

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas from the Frame Football Scotland team. We’re taking a break for the Christmas holidays but we’ll be back bigger and better in the new year. We’re not resting on our laurels during this downtime however and we’re doing everything we can to spread the word about our sessions. Ten kids took part in our first session and that was great. But we know that there are hundreds of girls and boys out there who would love to take part. So if you know someone who you think would like to come down and enjoy the fun please pass on the message. We’ll endeavor to accommodate as many as we possibly can.

Frame Football Kicks Off

Frame Football has officially kicked off! After what seems like far too long we finally held our first session today at the Firhill complex over in Maryhill. The session was a great success with 10 kids taking part. Coaches Kevin Kelly and David Galt (who also plays for Queen’s Park) were on hand to take the kids through some training drills followed by a game of football near the end of the session. Everyone who took part enjoyed themselves, as did the coaches and parents. We hope this is the start of something that continues to grow as the word spreads.
